Lou has held executive leadership positions with Atlantic Records, Lava Records, ReverbNation, and Sentric Music Publishing, where he played key roles in artist development, strategic marketing, publishing, and independent artist services. Most recently, he served as A&R Director for Sentric Music Publishing before founding Hot Rats Entertainment, where he now provides customized artist services including career strategy, distribution, publishing administration, release planning, marketing, business development, and artist mentoring.

In addition to his executive career, Lou has served as an Adjunct Professor teaching Artist Management and Concert Production, sharing his industry knowledge with the next generation of music professionals. He is also a frequent speaker at music conferences and educational events throughout the United States.

As a member of the TBAIMS Connect Advisory Council, Lou provides strategic guidance in artist development, music publishing, marketing, career planning, and industry best practices.
